Stuber's Store - Linwood Market

Adolph Stuber opened a grocery store by the railroad tracks at Poplar Avenue in 1910. His first store was a small butcher shop on Maple Avenue. The Stuber family operated the store until 1957 when Elsie Stuber sold the business and retired. It is the only one of Linwood's original Mom and Pop corner groceries still in business at the end of the century.
