Sea View was the name for the southern end of Linwood for many years and when the church was moved here from Bakersville (Northfield) in the 1880's it was called the Sea View Church. After the congregation built a new building across the street, the original became a private home. The belfrey and front porch have been carefully restored by the home owners.
